The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 is the entry-level certification for learners of Japanese. It assesses your ability to understand basic Japanese in everyday situations, with the exam covering fundamental vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening skills.

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT - N4)

The JLPT N4 is an intermediate level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, demonstrating basic Japanese comprehension and communication skills, particularly in understanding simple Japanese written on everyday topics and following slow-paced conversations. It tests basic grammar, vocabulary, and kanji knowledge, and passing requires a minimum overall score of 90 out of 180, with specific minimum scores needed in both language knowledge/reading comprehension and listening comprehension sections.

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT - N3)

JLPT N3 is an intermediate-level certification on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, demonstrating the ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations to a certain degree. It serves as a bridge between the basic levels (N4/N5) and the more advanced levels (N1/N2). The exam tests language knowledge (vocabulary, grammar), reading comprehension, and listening comprehension, requiring candidates to grasp approximately 370 new kanji and 2250 vocabulary words to understand specific content, such as newspaper headlines, and engage in conversations on daily topics.

GCE Advanced Level (A-level)

The Sri Lankan Advanced Level (A-level), formerly known as the Higher School Certificate (HSC), is a General Certificate of Education (GCE) qualification exam in Sri Lanka, similar to the British Advanced Level.

GCE Ordinary Level(O-level)

GCE Ordinary Level examination in Sri Lanka, a national exam taken by students in grades 10 and 11 to complete their secondary education and qualify for further studies or vocational training. Conducted by the Department of Examinations, it is a key milestone determining students' entry into Advanced Level (A/L) exams or other higher education paths.
